We are a community of ordinary people leading extraordinary lives through a joyful, loving, committed relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Theological Compass
We believe that all Life began with and flows from God/Christ/Holy Spirit, and that each person is a unique creation or ‘extension’ of God. Our underlying goal is to introduce people to God where appropriate, but especially to provide ongoing nurture for people who are in a long term relationship with God. It is our belief that all life prospers in love when we engage in a relationship with the Creator. Our goal is to continually ‘reveal’ our understanding of what God is like in everyday terms and settings in hopes that people will move closer to and be in harmony with the Origin, Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all that is.
We meet in the Family Life Center of the First Christian Church of Jenks, OK located across the street east from the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Main Street in Jenks. While not the most attractive of worship settings, it provides a place for our children to play during praise songs , for church dinners to become part of the worship setting, and for the focus to be on God’s spirit beyond beautiful surroundings.
